Kluang Eat: Fendy Burger Stall Beef & Chicken Burgers

Fendy Burger operates from a road-side stall — two stalls, actually — located near Kluang Bus Terminal, opposite Ngepot Kabin, a Muslim food centre. As a franchise of the Malaysian-popular Ramly Burger, since 1985, the burger stall serves nicely-done, delectable burgers than others with similar offerings. Fendy Burger is opened in the evening only and there are tables and chairs behind the stalls for dine-in.

Fendy Burger offers both beef (daging) and chicken (ayam) burger with different combinations. Other than beef / chicken patties as main ingredients, there are fried egg and lettuce as fillings and with chilli sauce or ketchup. The beef burgers and chicken burgers are prepared separately at their two stalls.

The Daging (Beef) Special Burger is served with a beef patty, sliced into two, and a fried egg with lettuce. The taste of Ramly Burger is very familiar to me but this burger has lots of fresh crunchy veggies, nicely-cooked beef patty and generous amount of tasty chilli sauce and mayonnaise. The slicing of the beef patty ensures the meat is evenly pan-fried and tender. It is delicious and probably the best Ramly burger I have tasted.

The Burger Daging Double + 2 Keping Telur has two beef patties and two fried eggs with lettuce and generous amount of sauces. This makes a delicious fuller meal to satisfy that craving for meatier beef burger.

(Pardon the poor turn-out of the photo below, the burger was huge and got distorted when taken-away. The photo above was taken when dining-in at the tables provided and has nicer presentation.)

Fendy Burger is a great option for cheap, tasty meal in the evening when in Kluang. It is also a convenient option while waiting for long-distance buses back to Singapore. However, allocate around 15 minutes for them to prepare the burger — longer time required if there is a queue.
