Ah Ma Seafood Kitchen (阿嬷海鲜小厨) is a newly-opened zi-char / cooked food stall in Foodgle Hub (福哥) in Bukit Batok West. The stall offers a list of seafood dishes, including curry fish head, fish head steamboat, chilli crab, cereal prawns, etc, grilled seafood on banana leaves and a series of popular Nanyang-style noodle and rice dishes.

The Kuala Lumpur-style Hokkien Mee (吉隆坡福建面) is served with fresh prawns, lean meat slices, fishcake slices, cabbage and crispy fried pork lard stir-fried with thick yellow noodle (known as tai lok mee, 大碌面) in thick dark sauce — but not pitch-black like other KL Hokkien Mee that I had tried. The noodle dish is not too dry nor wet and has a sweet-savoury taste, not too sweet, and with occasional bursts of that delightful flavour from the fried pork lards.

The Lala White Bee Hoon (啦啦白米粉) is a thin rice vermicelli dish that is quick-fried with fried scrambled egg, bean sprouts, spring onions and, lastly, seafood (prawns, squids, white clams) in savoury broth that is enough to wet the dish but not making it soupy. The dish gives off a mellow wok aroma and has a delightful taste, not strong-tasting. The seafood are very fresh with the white calms surrendering its sweet juiciness when chewed.

I have tried two, out of three, signature noodle dishes of Ah Ma Seafood Kitchen so far and they are nice tasting. I will go for their grilled seafood dishes some day.
