The Noodle Memories (古月面) is a noodle stall located on the 2nd storey of Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, Chinatown. It has been serving Malaysian-style noodle dishes using their own handmade noodle for 30 years in Malaysia and started their new venture in Hong Lim Food Centre in 2022. It added a second outlet in Suntec City in December 2025.
Aside from the stall’s signature dry / soup noodle dishes (古月面干/汤), vegetarian noodle (古月素食面) and mala soup noodle (古月麻辣面), there are specialty dishes, such as dry chilli noodle (古月干辣椒面), zhajiang noodle (古月炸酱面), kimchi noodle (古月泡菜面), chicken cutlet noodles (古月鸡扒面) and Jumbo Noodle (古月全满面). All ingredients are also available as add-ons.
Their Specialty Chicken Cutlet Noodle (古月鸡扒面) is served with chicken cutlet in crispy batter, fried beancurd skin, greens and a poached egg on thick noodle and garnished with fried shallots and crispy fried chilli (if opted for spicy). The handmade noodle is unique and tossed in slippery, savoury sauce and the tender chicken cutlet is tasty and crispy. This is quite a filling dish — for me.
There are more noodle dishes to go for at The Noodle Memories and they should be as tasty as the chicken cutlet noodle.
