The mung bean biscuit, sold in boxes of 5 or 10 pieces, has crispy and flaky crust with a savoury mung bean filling that is soft and not too sweet nor salty. The biscuit is nicely-baked with smooth crust and no over-dried filling. The bigger-size biscuit has more soft filling to crispy crust ratio and gives a more satisfying mouthfeel. The cake is mildly sweet with a slight savoury note due to the use of sea salt and tartar cream as two of its ingredients. It is a delicious cake for afternoon coffee.
