Kheng Guan Hiong uses thick, soft and fresh breads for their toasts, which are lightly-grilled over charcoal. For butter and kaya<\/em> toasts, the grilled bread will be spread with their self-made kaya<\/em> and added with butter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lightly-roasted breads are slightly-charred on the outside \u2014 with nice charcoal-grilled aroma \u2014 and retained most of its softness. The butter are laid out in thick strips instead of being spread thin. The amount of kaya<\/em> and butter are well-balanced and not too much so as to avoid creating a sinfully sweet toasts for breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
