En Cakes & Pastries is a specialised cake shop located in Block 451 in Bukit Batok West, beside Foodgle Hub (福哥) coffee shop, and has established a reputation for offering high-quality and fresh desserts in a cozy neighbourhood. The shop is recognised for its bespoke cakes and themed creations, with focuses on low sugar level compared to other bakeries.
Most of En’s single-serving cakes, such as tiramisu, fruit cakes, etc, are laid in respective containers and easy to buy and take-away. Whole cakes, for special seasons, are also available off-the-shelf.
En’s Tiramisu is laced with small amount of alcohol which keeps the cream soft even after being chilled. The tiramisu is fluffy with chocolate taste, mild-sweet and with slight hint of the liqueur used. This is really nice as a dessert.
The Dark Chocolate cake is creamy and topped with dark chocolate, crunchy small beads, waffle, cookie, and sprinkled with cocoa powder. As a dark-chocolaty dessert, it has rich bitter-chocolate flavour with very low sweetness level as always. It is a great dessert, especially for Christmas as a smaller log cake.
En’s cakes are definitely low in sweetness and great as desserts. I will find an opportunity to try their bespoke cake someday.
