澳门牛杂世家, translated as “Macau Beef Offal Master / Family”, is a small shop specialising in braised beef offal, a traditional Cantonese delicacy that originated from Guangdong and Hong Kong and has become one of Macau’s most beloved specialty snacks. It uses a secret recipe that has been passed down through four generations.
Located in an alley off the main road of Av. de Almeida Ribeiro (新马路), the shop has few tables for dine-in in addition to taking-away. Aside from beef offal, there are other Macau-popular dishes, such as beef brisket noodle and curry fishballs too.
The medium-size Beef Offal (牛杂) option comprises of beef tripe, intestines, lungs, and other offal as the main ingredients, which are braised with white radish and seasoned with a rich sauce to infuse unique flavour and make the beef offal tender and juicy. Beef brisket and noodle can also be added to make it a meal rather than just a snack. This is delicious.
A poster pasted outside the shop highlighted that the shop is one of the sites used to film a Chinese TV series called “翩翩喜欢你”.
