Bing Fang Wanton Noodle (丙坊云吞面) is a noodle stall located in Aces League 447 Coffee Shop below Block 447 in Bukit Batok West, next to The Kuihmaker. The stall serves a number of noodle dishes, including its signature wanton noodle, soups (wanton soup, dumpling soup) and side dishes (fried wanton, fried dumpling, chicken feet and fermented beancurd crispy pork).

Bing Fang’s signature Wanton Noodle (云吞面) is served with generous amount of char siew slices on dry-style egg noodle with pak choy, crispy fried pork lard and reasonable-sized wantons in a light-peppery-tasting soup. The thin noodle is tossed in dark sauce and has crisp and springy texture. The slices of char siew are juicy-sweet and the savoury wantons, using fresh minced meat, are delicious. This dish is very well-done and nice.

The Chicken Feet Noodle (鸡抓面) is served with big braised chicken feet on the same thin egg noodle, tossed in dark braised sauce, with slices of mushroom and pak choy as well. The chicken feet are so soft that even a toothless person can eat them. The mild-spicy, light-peppery soup is a great compliment to the noodle dish.

The Fermented Beancurd Crispy Pork Noodle (南乳炸肉面) is served with large amount of fried pork on egg noodle. The strips of pork belly meat are well-fried till crispy and yet still retained some tenderness with a hint of mild fermented beancurd flavour. My first time trying such a tasty dish and the number of fried meat is really a lot.

The Dumpling Noodle (水饺面) is served with 3 reasonable-size dumplings with shrimp and minced meat fillings in a separate bowl of soup. The default dry-tossed egg noodle base — its crisp and springy texture is too good to change to other noodle types — is added with the usual pak choy and crispy fried pork lard. The shrimp-meat dumplings are savoury, not salty and enhanced with mild-peppery flavour from the soup.

The Fried Shrimp Paste Wing Noodle (虾酱鸡翅面) — with the usual egg noodle, pak choy and fried lard — is added with 3 pieces of fried chicken wings flavoured with shrimp paste. The chicken wings, fried on order, are nicely-fried with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. They have mellow flavour of shrimp paste, no overbearing taste. Another great dish to go for with their crisp egg noodle.

Bing Fang’s noodle dishes are really nice and I am about to complete the list.
