The Cookies Factory is a premium cookies and biscuit manufacturer, established in 1991, that bakes and sells a wide range of colourful cookies — and mooncakes too during Mid Autumn Festival — and they are great as gifts during festive seasons or as party treats. The Cookies Factory’s retail outlet is located along the Skudai-Pontian Highway in Pontian District, near to Pontian Kechil.
The Cookies Factory has two household brands: Mama’s Oven and Skinnie Biscotti. Mama’s Oven includes a range of homemade cookies with different variants, such as almond, peanut, butter milk, butterscotch, green pea, nutty salty caramel and more. Their Skinnie Biscotti series feature thinly-sliced crisp biscotti of multiple flavours too. Apart from self-made cookies, other local products of Malaysia are sold here too.
The cookies and biscuits are available in beautiful boxes and standing pouches with vacuum packagings and are great as gifts. For self-consumption, those in plain plastic containers are more economical. My first purchases are red velvet cheese cookies, matcha-flavour almond biscotti and orange-flavour almond biscotti.
The red velvet cheese cookies are not too sweet, with a milky flavour and has texture similar to butter cookies. The thin slices of almond biscotti are crispy rather than hard and have nice flavours. The colourful cookies will be wonderful gifts for the upcoming Christmas, New Year and Chinese Lunar New Year — and any other festive seasons and parties too.
The retail outlet of The Cookies Factory faces the Skudai-Pontian Highway and is easy to find. Get some special cookies as your next Christmas gifts or birthday party treats.
