Senai International Airport (士乃国际机场) is located in Senai of Kulai District, Johor, and is the nearest airport to Johor Bahru. For Singapore residents, Senai Airport is an alternative to Changi International Airport for more flight options, especially when flying to / from domestic airports within Malaysia — Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Penang, Ipoh, etc, in West Malaysia and Kuching, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Tawau, etc, in East Malaysia (Borneo). International destinations include Jakarta, Bangkok, Surabaya, Ho Chi Minh City, Guangzhou, etc.

AA1 Airport Shuttle Service
Causeway Link Service AA1 is the only shuttle bus service operating between JB Sentral Bus Terminal in Johor Bahru and Senai International Airport. The airport shuttle service operates at one-hourly intervals between 9am to 7pm, and last buses from both JB Sentral and Senai Airport are at 8:30pm. The service is non-stop between the two terminals and will take about 30~45 minutes — depending on traffic conditions.

The bus fare is RM8 per passenger — regardless of child or adult. Pay using cash (exact fare), Visa / Mastercard credit / debit card or ManjaLink card onboard the shuttle buses. When using any of the acceptable cards, tap it on the card reader once when boarding the bus, do not tap again on alighting or you will be double-charged. Note that one card can only be used for one passenger.
Purchase the RM8 ticket fare onboard the shuttle service.
From JB Sentral to Senai Airport
Take Causeway Link Service AA1 at Bus Bay 1 — towards the end of the bus terminal on the ground level of JB Sentral — right after exiting from JB CIQ. The airport shuttle service had been upgraded with more comfortable, mini-coaches and no longer displays “AA1 Senai Airport” on their front — recognise them by their white-colour coats instead of bright pink of the staged buses.

On arriving at Senai International Airport, usually after about 30 minutes, the shuttle service will stop at the far end of the Pick-up & Drop-off Zone outside the airport. Alight and walk to the airport.

Enjoy your flight from Senai International Airport.
From Senai Airport to JB Sentral
After arriving (back) at Senai Airport and exiting from the arrival hall, follow the signage for “Bas” (Bus) to exit the airport terminal and to the Pick-up & Drop-off Zone.

Wait for the white (AA1) airport shuttle service at the designated “Bus Waiting Area” towards the far end of the Pick-up & Drop-off Zone.

Board the shuttle service bounded for JB Sentral. Similarly, pay the fare onboard the bus. When using credit / debit card or ManjaLink card, tap only once on boarding, do not tap again on alighting. The shuttle service will depart on time.

Bear in mind that the airport shuttle service uses the Skudai Highway on its way to JB Sentral. When the highway gets congested during peak hours, usually after around 3pm, the shuttle service will take longer time to arrive at JB Sentral.
